Trying HotSheild on all servers and is not connecting to anything at all. Junk download.

For the app, please give me an option to hide it from dock. And make it auto re-activate from wake. Thanks!

the purpose of a VPN is to keep your information from being read by others. This app requires you provide your Email address. It also does not describe the method of encryption used by the VPN

this is a garbage download, barely works and when you unistall it it will not get rid of the annoying wifi pop up. I had to factory reset my mac to get rid of it

App pretends you are in USA or Japan or GB. But… when you try to watch elements from these countries, if you are not physically in one of these countries, the app does not work. I’ve paid a yearly subscription. I want my money back. App does not work as advertised. And also, it is very difficult to connect.

What a piece of crap it used to work now that i renewed for two years cause they love billed me it doesnt work 95% of the time

This is a really good app, and it wors consistnently for me. However i do not have a credit card, and i cannot pay with iTunes even though i have the required $35 on my itunes account

I emailed asking whether rss2search.com is part of Hotspot Shield three (3) times, each time a Karla Hernandez responds ignoring my question entirely asking me to send screen snapshots or .. the last one re-install using the latest version - which is installed. Unprofessional, . will continue to look for a company that can handle simple, uncomplicated queries.

I signed up for the premium service and “always on” to keep my documents safe and browsing activities on FB, sending private emails, and so on. I have noticed on many occasions that they disconnect the service, so basicaly leaving the system vulnerable. Besides, they keep logs and do not delete them, meaning no privacy whatsoever as promised. One other problem when connected-- it totally slows down the network, so basically you can’t do anthing and are better off without it. I do not recommend to anyone to install it.

I have subscrived to Eliete. No VPN connection can be established at all. HSS returns almost immediately an error message. This version does not work at all under a very popular environment. All I can get is “VPN server error.” On top of it ,I cannot cancel “auto-renwal” option incredibly. Both of the vendor and Apple supports replied me that both of them cannot canncel auto-renwal. iPad version is also under the similar situation. Even the direct down load version (it is version 3.19 from the vendor’s site) does not work well. Son güncellemeden sonra, muhtesem calışmaya başladı. cok stabil ve kopma yok. herkese tavsiye ederim. This software is very well working after last update. very stable and no any internet connection cutting. i recommended for everyone.

At the beginning, it is very easy to join and use it, but after one month of my yearly elite membership, it is too difficult to join, so I absolutely don’t recommend.

This version has memory leaking, it took a 4GB of memory due last week. The second cons is it asks to install VPN profile too often. I do not recommend anyone to use appstore version. I use the old version from site.

After updating with the new version it is not connecting anymore to server, cant find a solution even after reinstalling it again Cant use it anymore.

Buggy, tricky, always redirects your browser to some random url. Be careful.

I really like this service. It’s free and I feel protected when I surf the internet. I had to take away one star because as of recent, I can no longer view how much data I’ve downloaded and uploaded. So I have no idea if it’s actually working or not. I assume it is, but that’s just an assumption. I would recommend as there is no other VPN service that’s free like this one and gives you the protection you want.

I REALLY LIKE IT

I used the free version Hotspot Shield a few years ago in Korea and loved it. decided to purchase it when i got to Japan. This is by far the least expensive VPN you can get at $30 for the year, however, it is horrible. Worked ok for about 2 months then every website thought i was in germany. I tried reinstalling as a last ditch effort to get it working again but then couldnt even start it, kept wanted to download a profile configuration, which i would install but then be prompted to do it all over again. a waste of money, time and effort. worth paying more for an application that works instead.
